This was a tough install due to the nature of Mount prospect codes but Penco did a great job on generator placement and running of all lines which was not easy! First, the person doing the estimate (we got several) was very thorough, listen to what I wanted and wrote up an estimate that gave me options. When I had questions, she answered them. Penco had the best estimate. They took care of permits and set-up the gas meter swap. The day of construction, they were super professional and we were very pleased with the result. We also had a the 200amp panel replaced in the house. Their people were superb and subsequent inspection and approval by the village was the best I have ever witnessed (no problems or questions). We live in an area with one electric line supplying our area. We had Penco Electric install a Generac 24kW whole house generator at our home in Crystal Lake. The job was completed on time and very competently. Vasili, Russ, Orlando and Anthony, the Penco installation team, were very conscientious, polite, friendly, professional and competent. Communication throughout the initial inspection, pre-installation planning period, and almost two day project installation was superb. Marion, the initial inspector and estimator, Karen, the in-office coordinator, and Vasili were extremely thorough and clear in their explanation of the project and installation, answering all questions thoroughly and patiently. Orlando did a superb job doing final site preparation while being careful of our landscaping. Clean-up was thorough and in-house work was left spotless. It is not fun to incur substantial cost in something that we do not use or see everyday and something we hope we will never have to use. Having said that, Penco and its superb installation team has given us peace of mind with absolutely no headaches.
